Gorgo Ford Taunus coupé

They are as seen below. They have tinplate body and underframe. Plastic wheels. Plastic coloured windows. No detailed insides. They have independent assambled can buffers. Their working system is locally called "friction" - pull forward, pick up, put over the track and release. The toycar is 52 mm wide, 126 mm long and 43 mm high. The toy comes in an open cardboard box with the following inscriptions: Ford Taunus Gorgo, art Nº 134, Industria Argentina, Polizia Urbana, Pompiere, Taxi, Rally, GT. This toy was last produced in the 80´s. Each one costs US $18+ postage and handling (see bottom of page for details) and there are four models available:

Fire Chief Taunus Coupe: red body, black underframe, orange windows, paper stickers over doors and roof. Red flash lamp (it doesn´t light ) over roof.

Polizia Urbana Taunus Coupe: blue body, white roof, blue windows, paper stickers over doors and roof. Red flash lamp (it doesn´t light ) over roof.

Montecarlo rally #10 Taunus Coupe: orange body, black underframe, orange windows, paper stickers over doors and roof.

Racing Taunus Coupe # 4: green body, black underframe, blue windows, paper stickers over doors and roof.

Jet Ford Taunus coupé

It is a Ford Taunus Coupe (as seen below). It has zamak (diecast) body and underframe. Plastic wheels and windows. Detailed insides. The toycar is in 1/64 scale. The toy comes in blister, that has to be opened for the first time to take the car out. This toy is a strange product of the Gillette Company of Argentina, the same that produces shaving machines. This toy was last produced in the 80´s. It is painted metalic orange and costs US $16 + postage and handling (see bottom of page for details).

Galgo Ford Taunus Savoy mk 5

I have also got some Galgo Taunus Savoy Mk5. They all come in mint boxed condition with a Taunus drawn on the upper part of the box, (se pictures below), and the price is US $27 each + postage and handling (see bottom of page for details).
